Its unique blue-green color is probably caused by suspended copper oxide. People come from miles around to fish for lake trout, rainbows, grayling, and Dolly Varden. Hike the nearby trails or take a narrated boat tour to enjoy the surrounding 7,000 foot peaks. Ask us about the wildlife viewing trail at the mineral licks. Headed for the Hot Springs?
